It could be recalled that last year the Minister of Education Mallam Adamu Adamu called for the cancellation of POST UTME screening conducted by the country’s Tertiary institutions. condemning it saying its is a duplication of cost on the side of Parents who after paying so much to enroll their children for the UTME, will now have to still pay the institution for another exams, this is aside the risk the student have to face most times travelling to the institution which is usually the venue for the screening.
Although this didn’t go down well with the institutions, the Federal Government through the Honorable Minister threatened to sanction any institution that does otherwise.
